Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens held its 9th Annual Kids Fun Day in Astoria, Queens, on August 4th. It generated lots of attention for all its fun activities and community outreach! Hundreds of community residents came out to enjoy this exciting day and gain important resources on health and safety.
This event is held annually in block-party fashion with enjoyable stations for the entire family. Attendees receive free, limited drawstring bags filled with school supplies as well as other cool giveaways and healthy snacks. Activities included music and dancing, arts and crafts, a bounce house, and much more!
Catholic Charities also provides information on our programs and resources, such as our ESL program, behaviorial health services, W.I.C. Program and early childhood programs.
