In memory of the lives lost on September 11th, 2001, members of the Catholic Charities Bayside Senior Center in Queens were joined by Congressman John C. Liu, Assemblymember David Weprin, Jordan Goldes (representing Congresswoman Grace Meng), Assemblymember Nily Rozic and Councilman Barry Grodenchik for a special memorial. Seniors engaged in a moment of silence, Pledge of Allegiance and planted 18 Chrysanthemums around the center to honor the devastating tragedy 18 years ago.
