Proceeds to Benefit Programs and Services

On June 22, Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens held its annual charity golf tournament, the 2023 Bishop Joseph M. Sullivan Memorial Golf Classic. This year’s event, held at the North Hills Country Club in Manhasset, NY, was an 18-hole tournament that saw a great turnout of 35 teams and 140 golfers. Despite the rain, the 2023 Bishop Joseph M. Sullivan Memorial Golf Classic was a resounding success, raising more than $100,000 for Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens.

The charity golf tournament started with an 11:00 a.m. shotgun start, with each player receiving a duffel bag, golf ball, commemorative golf shirt, buffet breakfast, and lunch on the course. The day ended with a cocktail reception and buffet dinner, as well as a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle.

The proceeds from the event will go towards the programs and services of Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens, which help countless families throughout Brooklyn and Queens. The organization offers a range of services that help families get a head start on life, including counseling, education, and community outreach programs.

Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to its sponsors for their generous support, which helped make this year’s charity golf tournament such a success. The organization is already looking forward to next year’s event and hopes to continue making a difference in the lives of families throughout the community.
