CCBQ’s Community Program Services recently hosted Little Flower Funday at Saint Therese of Lisieux Roman Catholic Church in Brooklyn. Over 160 guests enjoyed health, wellness, craft, games and giveaways. The celebration included performances by stilt walkers performing to the infectious beats of Caribbean music and a DJ who played various musical games with the children. There was also a farmers market inspired produce station that offered attendees summer-ready fruits and vegetables including corn, celery, lemons, potatoes and peppers. Thank you to our vendors: Abilities Inc. at the The Viscardi Center, Link Home Care Services, ClearCaptions, NYU Langone Health Breast Health, MetroPlus Health Plan, NY Connects and Girl Scouts of Greater New York. An additional thank you to volunteers, staff and the Health Ministry Nurses of the St. Therese of Lisieux Roman Catholic Church for providing blood pressure screenings.
