On February 2nd, Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens (CCBQ) joined the Human Services Council as well as other nonprofits at a press conference for the Restore Opportunity Now Campaign. The Restore Opportunity Now Campaign is a statewide effort to call for the state to make crucial investments to the nonprofit human services sector here in New York. CCBQ is one of the organizations which provide essential services to combat poverty and inequality in our neighborhoods. CCBQ is proud to join the over 360 nonprofit organizations and New York State Assembly Members in this fight for proper funding to help the needy here in New York.
