CCBQ’s Community Program Services recently conducted two Market Walking Tours in Brooklyn. Members of Grandmothers As Mothers Again (G.A.M.A.) visited the Brooklyn Borough Hall Greenmarket where they purchased fresh fruits and vegetables. Additionally, members of the Riverdale Osborne Towers Food Pantry visited the Brownsville Rockaway Youthmarket and also purchased seasonal fruits and vegetables. Both groups received Health Bucks (distributed by the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene) to purchase fresh fruit and produce.
