In an interview with Nuestra Voz, Michael Duarte, Program Specialist with Pathways to Your Future shared information on three programs CCBQ offers the community to access new job opportunities, find their vocation before entering college, and be encouraged to serve as volunteers. Through ESOL – English for Speakers of Other Languages; Pathways to Your Future; and the Young Adult Internship Program (YAIP) individuals have an opportunity to advance in the workforce or find the right steps to begin their career. Additionally, Michael also highlighted the recent OSHA-30 Construction Training Course, a free course conducted in Spanish for construction workers who need to obtain an OSHA license. The OSHA-30 Construction Training Course was a collaborative effort made possible with the support of Make the Road New York.
