CCBQ participated in the 2013 Big Apple Crunch Event, an attempt to set the world record for most participants in an ‘apple-crunching’ event. Taking place on Food Day 2013 (October 24, 2013), New Yorkers in all five boroughs gathered at their local greenmarkets to bite into apples together at noon. CCBQ gathered staff and neighbors at the Brooklyn Borough Hall Greenmarket to enjoy delicious red and green apples!
