Early Childhood Services Celebrates Successful Year with Appreciation Ceremony

The Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens Early Childhood Services team recently concluded the school year with a memorable End of the Year Meeting and Appreciation Ceremony. Held at the St. Malachy Early Childhood Development Center in Brooklyn, the event celebrated the achievements of the Head Start and Early Head Start Programs.

The ceremony honored the hard work and dedication of the Executive Policy Council Members and Program Parent Representatives, whose support has been instrumental in the success of these programs. The event highlighted the positive impact these efforts have had on the lives of the children served.

The Catholic Charities Early Childhood Development Centers provide free Early Head Start and Head Start services to low-income families. Early Head Start provides services to children six weeks to age 3. Head Start provides services to children age 3 to 5 years old. Through the Montessori approach, the center ensures children are ready for school by providing a variety of developmentally appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, language-literacy and physical development.
