With Thanksgiving just a day away, CCBQ’s Community Program Services Relatives as Parents Program (R.A.P.P.) reminisced about their childhood Thanksgiving memories. Members spoke about watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade with their family, attending church and helping prep Thanksgiving dinner. Later in the day, participants were greeted with a presentation from Mark Schultze of the Kinship Caregivers: Mobilization for Justice. Mark spoke to members about kincare services, including understanding legal rights, custody, guardianship and adoption proceedings.
