Last week Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens received a generous donation of personal protective equipment (PPE) care packages from the Seoul Business Agency. The distribution was facilitated by the Seoul Business Agency President Young Seung Chang, Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Randy Peers, and Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams. The care packages contained masks, sanitizer sprays and digital educational resources to keep families entertained during the COVID-19 pandemic. The first distribution of care packages were delivered to the Catholic Charities St. Charles Jubilee Senior Center in Brooklyn as a sign of international friendship during a pandemic that impacted nations across the globe.
