The Catholic Charities Parkside Family Day Care Center in Brooklyn recently celebrated their Moving Up Ceremony for over 50 children of the program. Guest speakers included Brooklyn Deputy Borough President, Mrs. Ingrid Lewis-Martin, who spoke on the importance of education and parenting. Also present were NYC Council Member Mathieu Eugene, who highlighted the great work of the center, emphasizing the leadership skills of Director, Ms. Joan Reid. The Councilman, along with the NYC Councilwoman, Farah Louis, presented diplomas to the graduates. Thank you to everyone who joined us and staff members for hand-making the festive decorations.
