CCBQ’s Community Program Services recently held its final Blood Pressure Screening & Nutrition Expo at our Walk-In Center in Jamaica, Queens. As part of NYC Department for the Aging’s Keep on Track Blood Pressure Monitoring Program, the workshop focused on brain foods and its impact on memory and concentration. Participants went home with a bag of brain foods including kale, oranges, avocados, blueberries and salmon. Those who attended all three sessions received a prize and Certificate of Completion.
