Congratulations to the New York City Department for the Aging’s Grandparents Resource Center for their Janet Sainer Award! Ms. Sainer was a New York City Commissioner for the New York City Department for the Aging in the 1980’s and developed programs to ensure the aging community remained active, educated on health issues and provided with meals.
