Seniors of the Catholic Charities Glenwood Senior Center in Brooklyn celebrated Mother’s Day early with an arts and crafts session! Yong Le, Director of the Canarsie Library and Ernestine Walkes taught our members how to creatively decorate and craft straw hats. Afterwards, seniors showed off their art skills with a Hat Fashion Show and choir performance. Later, members were greeted by New York State Assemblymember Jaime R. Williams and New York State Senator Kevin Parker.
