Moving Forward Program
Catholic Charities Moving Forward Program offers access to a vast array of FREE services to help overcome hardships of immigrant families and individuals at risk of removal. In conjunction with our English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) workshops we teach healthy living and provide available healthcare resources to improve quality of life.
Services include:
- Coping with stress or fear of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)
- Making a family preparedness plan in case of deportation
- Educational workshops on health and wellness.
- Health services
- Mental health services
- Substance abuse counseling
- Domestic violence counseling
- Access to food pantry network
- Orientation on obtaining a passport
- Access to English classes for individuals interested in learning the language
- Orientation on obtaining a GED
- Access to summer youth employment services
- And more
