The Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens Community Outreach Services team recently hosted Winter Wonderland in the gymnasium of St. Benedict the Moor Roman Catholic Church in Jamaica, Queens. The afternoon was filled with fun winter themed activities for children ages 5 – 12 years old. Families bonded over pin the hat on the polar bear, ice fishing, snowball throwing and more.
Thank you to Vision Zero for providing street safety tips and Empire BlueCross/BlueShield for sharing low-to-no-cost health insurance and sponsoring our photo booth.
Guests were gifted food vouchers, PPE, winter accessories and toys!
